Description
London, 1054. Pious, childless King Edward builds his great abbey at Westminster while England's crown hangs on a breath. The Godwins are back from exile, led by handsome Earl Harold; Queen Edith keeps her own counsel; Norman favourites whisper of a promise to Duke William. In the City, merchants buy loyalty, servants hear everything and monks keep secrets. Twelve years before Hastings, every oath, marriage and betrayal could decide who wears the crown. Choose your allegiance.
