Middle-Earth

Lord of the Rings. Middle-Earth, the calm before the storm breaks. Has the ring resurfaced? All that is known is great hosts are being marshalled in preparation for war. Countless legions of Orcs in Mordor, the Uruk-Hai emerge in Isengard. The Rohirrim ride to secure their borders, the men of Gondor fortify their walls. In the north, Goblin hosts seethe and swarm, and from Imladris and Lorien Eldar hosts march forth, singing the war songs of a lost age.

Work in progress. Suggestions for isekei type characters starting points is one of Grey Havens, Dol Amroth or Umbar, on the basis these are ports, so the whole 'Stranger from a distant land' thing can work. Starting points do not have intro text, my thought on that is I prefer to have Franz rewrite his opening message to give me the starting scenario I want on that occasion, so I don't want to shoehorn anyone into some concept.
