It was destroyed by the Shinra Electric Power Company as a punishment for the destruction of the Corel Reactor, leading to the relocation of its survivors to North Corel and the establishment of the Corel Prison beneath the Gold Saucer.
Corel Prison
Once a thriving town, Corel Prison now stands as a dilapidated remnant of its former self, overshadowed by the Gold Saucer. The area is a lawless haven for criminals, where prisoners are pitted against each other and monsters roam freely, creating a chaotic environment. The prison is self-governed by Mr. Coates and a mysterious leader, with the faint outlines of the original town still visible amidst the ruins.
