Tin Street – The Beating Heart of Ravnica’s Commerce
Tin Street is the longest and most bustling thoroughfare in all of Ravnica, a sprawling artery of trade that never truly sleeps. By day, the air is thick with the scent of sizzling street food, the calls of hawkers peddling everything from enchanted trinkets to dubious “miracle” tonics, and the clatter of carts weaving through the crowd. By night, the street transforms into a glittering ribbon of lanternlight, alive with music, laughter, and the hum of countless conversations spilling from taverns, theatres, and open-air stages.
Every inch of Tin Street is claimed by commerce — towering shopfronts lean over narrow alleys, while makeshift stalls and rickety carts cram into every available gap. Guilded and un-guilded merchants alike jostle for space, their goods reflecting the city’s dizzying diversity: shimmering Izzet gadgets, fragrant Selesnyan herbs, Boros-forged weaponry, and Orzhov “luxury” wares that may cost more than a lifetime’s wages.
The alley ways behind the shops are the home of beggars and a faction knows as @The Goblin Street Gang. This gang consists of @Goblin Street Gang Members, youths who pray on the weak and vulnerable.
The other main faction to beware of in Tin Street is the @Kobold Protection Gang. A more organised Mob type operation that extorts money from the local shopkeepers.
Places of note in Tin Street are;
@Miss Tiggywinkle's House of Repose, which is run by a 7ft female ogre @Miss TiggyWinkle . A unmistakable pink building at the east end of the street, the six bed workers hotel is rumoured to actually be an illegal House of Ill Repute. The hotel is staffed by @Goblin Maids, who are rumoured to provide a range of more personal services.
@Cakes and Bakes is a Bakery and vomitorium run by the Bonk brothers @Bink Bonk & @Franz Bonk , goblin bakers. A place of sweet pastries and over indulgence.
@Sporting News, is operated by the dwarf @Grant Thunderbucket . Officially a news stand, it mainly deals in sporting and gambling publications. Grant is also known to run an illegal bookies, taking bets on all the local races.
@The Redemption Church is a charity shop selling second hand goods to raise money for the poor. The actual religion it is affiliated with is unclear, and it is rarely open and has an abandoned air about it. The shop is run by @Jenna Bootlick and her husband Baldrick, although no one has seen Baldrick in many months.
@The Silverstret Casino run by @Dave Silverback occupies the largest building in Tin Street, at the far north-western end, where Tin Street meets Silver Street in a T-Junction. @Gronk Knuckleback is the head of security as the casino, working with a number of @Hobgoblin Casino Bouncer 's.
