Description
Season Unending is an ever-evolving world set in 2nd Era Tamriel, during the 3-Banners War. Key features include detailed cities, Lore-rich regions, and unique dungeons at every turn. It features 500 Spells, an expansive list of Tamrielic monsters, highly detailed characters and locations, deep-cut Elder Scrolls Lore, and a custom map that can be directly correlated to in-world locations. Season Unending will remain public as I continue to add gameplay features and new world-zones. Enjoy!
Author's Note
Season Unending is launching with High Isle, the primary island in the Systres Archipelago. The rulers of High Isle are House Dufort- a Breton Noble house that oversees a shipbuilding empire from Gonfalon Bay in the south. Their intrests clash with the nature spirits that seek to protect the Green and the sacred land of the Systres Archipelago. Mediating this conflict are the Stonelore Druids who also reside on the island. They seek harmony between civilized folk and the natural world around them. It isn't all sunshine and roses however, there 20 unique dungeons on High Isle alone where various monsters and militant groups must be dealt with. This world is designed for those who enjoy the narrative combat mode. The way I am treating official TES lore is as a scaffold to construct the world around, as well as building blocks to pull ideas from and remix into creations. If I had to place it in-lore, then Season Unending would take place in an alternate universe from the main games, one of Ithelia's "Many Paths of Fate". High Isle is just the start, and I work on this project almost every day. The current plan for the next few weeks is to fill out the Item roster, class features, and implement dedicated POIs for ship travel across the Abecean Sea.. Once the gameplay elements are in a good place, I will move on to building the Islands of Galen->Amenos->Y'ffelon. Maritime Hammerfell is next, with Stros M'kai, Herne, and Cespar forming my version of "The Chain". I also have plans for High Rock, but that is looking a bit too far ahead at the current moment.
