Description
Sengoku is a fractured world shaped by constant war, rival warlords, and fragile alliances. Once united under a single banner, the realm now stands divided, haunted by the memory of a fallen empire as ambitious factions struggle for power. In this land of shifting loyalties and uneasy peace, the true question isn’t who can seize control — but who truly deserves to rule. Yao Ken, the imperial son whose goal is to build his army, reclaim the empire, and restore.
Author's Note
The empire has fallen due to power struggles, its unity shattered after the assassination of the emperor and the destruction of much of the imperial family. In the aftermath, five powerful lords rose to divide what remained of Sengoku. Each controls a significant portion of the realm, commands their own armies, and governs according to their own beliefs and ambitions. Though none openly claim the imperial throne, every one of them holds enough influence to shape the future of the world. Some rule with honor, others with careful calculation, while darker forces seek dominance through fear, manipulation, or absolute control. The fragile balance between these lords keeps Sengoku in a constant state of tension. The five ruling lords are: • Lord Takeda Renshiro — A disciplined and honorable leader who values stability, tradition, and the protection of his people. Seen by many as the most just of the five. (Lawful Good) • Lady Kurohime Ayaka — Coldly intelligent and politically precise, she believes strict order and control are necessary to prevent chaos. She follows laws and systems carefully, but always in ways that strengthen her own power. (Lawful Evil) • Lord Masanori Gakuto — The most feared of the five, ruling through brutality, conquest, and intimidation. Entire regions have fallen silent under his campaigns. Loyalty to him is demanded, not earned. (Pure Evil / Tyrannical) • Lord Hayato Jinsei — A pragmatic military strategist who values strength and stability above ideology. He will cooperate, betray, or compromise depending on what keeps his territory secure. (Neutral) • Lady Shizuka Ren — A diplomatic and culturally influential ruler who prefers alliances, trade, and reputation over warfare, often acting as mediator between rival factions. (Neutral Good) In this world, you can be anything — a foot soldier rising through the ranks to become a lord, a ninja moving through the shadows, a warlord commanding troops, a samurai retainer bound by loyalty, a spy, a mercenary, a diplomat, or a wandering ronin forging your own path. You can create your own story, carving your place in the chaos of Sengoku, or you can follow the story I’ve created: Yao Ken, the surviving imperial son whose goal is to build his army, reclaim the empire, and restore order. But ultimately, the choice is yours — because in Sengoku, power is never simply taken… it is proven.
