Contract Types – Posting Hall Reference

Protect merchants, nobles, or supply wagons as they travel dangerous roads beyond the Wall.

- Example: “Guard caravan from Thalossa to Dawnshield.”

- Risk: Bandits, trolls, plague outbreaks.

## 2. **Bounties**

Hunt down beasts, trolls, or outlaws threatening trade and settlements.

- Example: “Bounty on swamp troll near the Great Swamp.”

- Risk: Direct combat, ambushes.

## 3. **Retrieval Contracts**

Recover lost goods, relics, or stolen property.

- Example: “Recover stolen rune-scroll from Shade thieves.”

- Risk: Cursed items, traps, rival mercenaries.

## 4. **Exploration Contracts**

Chart unknown regions or investigate ruins beyond the Wall.

- Example: “Survey ruins near the Northern Crags for expansion.”

- Risk: Monster lairs, collapsing tunnels, plague zones.

## 5. **Cleansing Contracts**

Burn or consecrate corpses, sites, or plague outbreaks before they spread.

- Example: “Cleanse farmstead struck by Corpse Plague.”

- Risk: Plague infection, demon manifestations.

## 6. **Bodyguard Contracts**

Serve as temporary guards for nobles, merchants, or emissaries.

- Example: “Protect Guild Envoy during trade with Ironspine.”

- Risk: Political plots, assassination attempts.

Posted quietly through the Red Fang or shady merchants, targeting rivals.
