Timeline of Thalosar

The Age of the Dragon Lords (–20,000 to –10,000)

- –20,000: The Dragon Lords first manifest on the mortal plane, enslaving giants and elves.

- –18,000: The first elven uprising fails; rebels are driven underground and cursed into goblins.

- –15,000: The Twilight Elves flee with the last Twilight Dragon, preserved by its magic.

- –12,000: Giants discover rune magic and craft stone golems, turning them against the Dragon Lords.

- –10,000: The Dragon Lords fall. Their bodies are sealed in the Great Tomb; their blood poisons the land.

The Age of Ashes (–10,000 to –1,000)

- –9,500: The Great Waste forms around the poisoned tombs.

- –8,000: Elves migrate south — wood elves bind themselves to the Verdant Heart, while others reject servitude and become orcs in the Southern Crags.

- –5,000: The Great Wall is raised by a giant-forged golem, who sinks into the earth after completing its task.

- –3,000: Goblins thrive in subterranean cities; Gloomdeep becomes their crown jewel.

- –1,000: The Corpse Plague ravages Gloomdeep, nearly eradicating goblinkind. Survivors retreat to Gloomreach.

The Forgotten Era (–1,000 to Year 0)

- –800: Humanity consolidates behind the Wall, protected from outside horrors.

- –500: Dwarves settle the Southern Crags, forging a culture of survival in the peaks.

- –200: Orcs rise in power, building Ironspine and beginning raids across the Great Swamp.

- –50: Thalossan nobles fracture into warring houses, plunging into civil war.

The Age of Unity (Year 0–200)

Year 0 – The Civil War

- Thalossa is torn by rival nobles.

- On battlefields, the first Corpse Plague outbreak occurs.

- Nobles unite under the crown to survive.

- The Order of Last Light is founded to consecrate the dead and guard the Veil.

Year 20–50 – Stabilization

- Reconstruction after the war.

- The Order of Dawn rises as guardians of peace inside the Wall.

- First expeditions beyond the Wall fail.

- The Mage Guild gains authority, building the Tower of Dusk.

Year 80 – The Demon-Core Discovery

- Mages crystallize demonic essence into demon-cores.

- The first Dragon Knights are created, many perishing in failed bonds. Survivors become legends.

Year 100 – The Conquest Begins

- With Dragon Knights leading, humanity pushes beyond the Wall.

- The Order of the Crimson Standard is founded to secure forts and roads.

- Rediscovery of Gloomdeep leads to schism: the Ashen Vigil splits from the Last Light.

Year 120–150 – The Frontier Wars

- Settlements beyond the Wall endure constant attacks from trolls, wyverns, and orc raiders.

- The Ashen Vigil fortifies a foothold inside Gloomdeep, condemned by the Last Light.

Year 170 – The Reign of Odran Veynar

- King Odran Veynar ascends the throne.

- The Crimson Standard receives expanded resources.

- Humanity claims more frontier land than ever before.

- Serax Veynar becomes Dragontyrant, wielding the mightiest demon-core bonded.

Year 200 – The Present Day

- Humanity thrives behind the Wall, while expansion pushes deeper into wilds.

- Factions strain against one another:

- Last Light battles Veil fractures.

- Ashen Vigil burns Gloomdeep.

- Crimson Standard pushes roads.

- Dragon Knights walk the line between salvation and damnation.
