Their purpose was both to glorify their masters and to act as thrones of power. When the Dragon Lords fell, the towers became tombs of relics, left to decay in the poisoned wastes.
Today, the towers stand half-buried in ash and sand, crumbling but indomitable, each one holding one of the legendary artifacts forged for the Dragon Lords. At their summits, dormant Stone Golem Colossi rest, awakening only when their charge is threatened.
