@The Great Waste is littered with colossal stone towers, each thousands of feet tall, built by enslaved giants under Dragon Lord command. Their purpose was both to glorify their masters and to act as thrones of power. When the Dragon Lords fell, the towers became tombs of relics, left to the poisoned wastes.
Today, the towers as vaults, each one holding one of the legendary artifacts forged for the Dragon Lords. At their summits, dormant @Stone Colossus rest, awakening only when their charge is threatened.
