Definition

A Prodigy is an extraordinary being, born not merely with talent, but with an innate destiny that exceeds the capacity of ordinary life. They are rare phenomena across the Mirror-Universe, sparks of brilliance whose power and influence transcend their peers.

Where most beings grow into greatness through training, will, or circumstance, a Prodigy is great from the moment of birth. They embody the pinnacle of their community, their planet, or even entire galaxies.

The Hierarchy of Prodigies

Prodigies exist in tiers, each relative to the scale of their influence:

  • Community Prodigy – A singular individual within a small culture, clan, or group.

  • Planetary Prodigy – The brightest star born to a world, often shaping its destiny.

  • Galactic Prodigy – A being whose brilliance echoes across the stars, often emerging only when balance or survival demands it.

  • Cosmic Prodigy (Theoretical) – Whispers exist of beings born as Prodigies for the entire Universe, though none have yet been confirmed.

Only one Prodigy is usually born per generation for each scale and each subject within that scale. However, anomalies sometimes force the birth of higher-order Prodigies in response to extraordinary circumstances.

Nature & Abilities

  1. Innate Brilliance – Prodigies are born with natural mastery or potential far beyond their peers. Their minds, bodies, or souls operate at levels most cannot fathom.

  2. Scaling Power – Their strength and influence are relative to the scale of their Prodigyhood. A planetary prodigy may rival armies, while a galactic prodigy can alter the course of civilizations.

  3. Adaptive Resonance – The universe itself seems to respond to their existence, elevating them in times of conflict or need.

Notable Prodigies

  • @Enoch Archon, the Prodigy of the Archi Empire/The lost heir of the Archi Empire
    Born upon @Kyriopelagos, a core planet already overflowing with natural talent, yet also being a @Shlamlach, Enoch embodied the Archi Empire’s Prodigy of his generation. Yet his brilliance surpassed its boundaries—he grasped a concept ability which was thought impossible to do.
    His existence demanded balance, and so the Archi Galaxy itself responded.
    Though Enoch is technically the prodigy of a large community in the Archi Empire, their galactic influence causes his innate power to be galactic, which is scary since this is before he learnt a concept ability.

  • @Lekhazot, the Archi Galaxy's answer
    Born the same day as Enoch but at the far edge of the Archi Galaxy on @Planet Moresheth, Lekhazot was created by the galaxy itself to counterbalance Enoch’s ascension.
    While Enoch was born the star of the Archi Empire, Lekhazot was destined as the shining beacon of the entire galaxy. His scale dwarfs Enoch’s initial potential, though their fates remain entwined by Enoch's current potential.

  • @Kanal (Codename: TLT, The Lightning Thief)
    A Prodigy of the AOB (Anomaly Operating Board), Kanal embodies the pinnacle of their secretive organization’s generation. His mastery of speed and electricity has earned him both awe and fear within the AOB’s ranks. Though he is technically the prodigy of a community (which is AOB), AOB's planetary influence upon @Kyriopelagos causes his innate power to be planetary.
