Threshold Division

Behavioral Metrics and Research Division (BMRD) is an official cover, and it is called the Threshold Division by the men and women who serve in it. A covert FBI unit that investigates impossible crimes—ritual killings, anomalous predators, and entities that don’t think like humans. Built from forensic minds, profilers, occult assets, and hard-response teams, they contain what the public can’t know, stop what normal bullets can’t, and keep their people sane long enough to do it again.

This was originally intended to be a utility and not a campaign. Then it became a quixotic attempt to start a campaign based in the modern day based on X-Files, Fringe, Warehouse 13, Bones, or maybe Walker Texas Ranger— based in Texas. The official maps of many states, and cities were imported and brought in to real-world scale on the map. It was imperfect.
