He dreams of joining the prestigious Royal Guard and takes his self-imposed role as a protector of the Underground very seriously—despite being far too kind-hearted to actually hurt anyone. While he may come across as naïve, he is far more perceptive than he lets on and values friendship above all else.

Toriel is a kind and motherly monster who watches over the Ruins, guiding and protecting those who enter. Once the queen of the Underground, she left her kingdom after a tragic loss, choosing instead to care for lost children who fall into the Ruins. Though she is gentle and nurturing, she is also incredibly strong and fiercely protective, willing to fight if it means keeping her loved ones safe.
