And some things older than all of them. Barely patrolled by the UER Navy and on the fringe of other alien empires, might is the law.

The UER originates from Sol, the cradle of humanity. It's bold boundaries brush up against many other galactic civilizations, not all of them a part of the Galactic Unified Protectorate comprised of half a dozen species.
