Description
In this world each race and faction is very wary of the others and racist towards them in the clique known ways of all lore. They are true to their morales and can be persuaded but only with time and effort and factual change. The world is split in half with 2 pantheons: DND and mythology. Neither gods can cross into the other side but mortals can freely. They are not argue guys who just argue for story tension. And all dice rolls are random and fair by the dm.
Author's Note
Each race has a few cities of its own and some other races visit or live in them but they are few and treated like second class citizens. They all have a few unique laws and each race feels superior in their own right and has a strong morale belief in arguing it if the subject comes up. For example, dwarves think they are the best because their blacks iths make the best get. Orcs feel they are the best Because of their residence and courage. Elves are the most advanced with magic etc. past wars make most races trust mostly their own race for their own preservation of life. This racism extends to classes and other ways if life too. For example: druids despise cities and industry. Paladins and warlocks hate each other and look for ways to legally kill each other. Most people dislike tieflings because they are part devil etc. Each group feels their way is the best way and they are stubborn and very articulate and strong in their morales in feeling this way each. Some races have more cities than others and bigger ones. Like the classic normal familiar races of Human, elf, dwarf, gnome, orc, goblin ect. While the others may have a small town or two and migrate into the previously mentioned cities. Or have hidden places due to fear or losing previous wars and or being oppressed by other races. We live on the Material plane just like in DND and there are all of the other planes to that we might one day explore. Also there are countless other planes that are realms of stories I might unlock as the player when my power increases like a realm that is the LOTR and it's setting for example. But those are rare. And only a myth for legends. Each Race and Faction is fighting to rule the world on their own way for their own purposes. Each believing their cause and goal is the best and they have rightful claim. They will offer a boon in the form of a magical weapon or power to those who swear loyalty to their race or faction and use the zone of truth and other magic to guarentee the continued faithfulness. For example the underwater faction of the Mermaids offers a boon to breath underwater if you act on their behalf and swear alligence to them. Each race is a faction in itself and they along with factions offer tiers of rewards for those who help their cause and help in their conquest or problems.
