Patch Notes 26.05 - New Bug Report System, Updates Timeline
Bug Reports
We've replaced the previous Featurebase system with an internal bug reporting system similar to the one in use by Craft. This has a few benefits, mainly that it automatically captures diagnostic information such as the relevant URLs or IDs needed to investigate a bug report without you needing to grab them yourself. You can access it via the dropdown menu of campaign messages or the sidebar in the home screen.

Timeline Updates
A few weeks ago, we said we planned to turn our attention back to F&F after finishing a few things following Craft's open beta launch. We genuinely believed that was the plan.
The reality is that Craft needs more work than we anticipated, and the AI RPG landscape continues to change incredibly quickly. After a lot of difficult conversations, we've decided to keep the development focus on Craft and put big new F&F updates on hold until 2027.
We know how disappointing that is, especially because it has already been nine months since F&F received a substantial update. Many of you have been extraordinarily patient with us, and we're sorry to ask for even more patience now.
This isn't an easy decision for us. We love F&F, and for years we've spent countless nights and weekends trying to build the best AI role-playing experiences we possibly can. We had every intention of being back to working on F&F by now. But we also have to make the hard decisions that we think give our small company the best chance of succeeding for the long term. These hard decisions are what we believe will keep the company healthy and growing, and ultimately keep F&F alive, while also allowing us to continue to build ambitious AI gaming experiences.
To be clear: F&F is not going anywhere. We're committed to keeping it running for as long as people love it and want to keep playing, and we still intend to return to it in 2027. This is a pause in new development, not the end of F&F.
We'd rather tell you honestly that our plans have changed than keep moving the timeline back a few weeks at a time. We know that honesty doesn't make the news any less frustrating, but you deserve clarity from us.
If this changes how you feel about supporting F&F, we completely understand, and we're happy to provide a refund. If you love F&F as it is today, you can continue playing just as you have been.
Thank you for caring about F&F, and for giving us the opportunity to build it in the first place. We don't take that trust, or your patience, for granted.
