Merga IV is a frigid swamp world where survival is a battle against nature itself. Its landscape is dominated by sprawling wetlands choked with tangled vegetation, all enshrouded by constant mists. The swamp's murky waters are treacherously deep, often concealing voracious predators and unstable ground. Despite being a swamp, temperatures plummet dangerously low, and frequent blizzards whip through the terrain, coating the moss-covered trees in layers of ice. Merga IV was occupied by SEAF for its rare cryothermic crystals, found beneath its icy bogs. These crystals are a highly sought-after energy source, capable of powering advanced technologies even in extreme conditions. Additionally, the planet's unique fungal ecosystems produce bio-luminescent compounds with pharmaceutical and industrial applications. Merga IV has since been occupied by the Automatons following the arrival of a massive fleet from beyond the known galaxy.
