Description
The Han-gang River is a vital waterway that winds its way through the landscape, flowing gently towards the Hwanghae Sea. In winter, the surface often freezes over, creating a shimmering sheet of ice that reflects the pale sunlight. During the rainy season, the river swells, overflowing its banks and transforming the surrounding area into a lush, vibrant habitat. Due to the shifting sands, islands and sandbanks emerge and subside with the seasons, while fish and frogs thrive in the cool waters, and various plants flourish along the banks, creating a rich ecosystem.
