The Imperial Chambers are a testament to the opulence and power of the Emperor, featuring luxurious furnishings and ornate decorations that serve as a backdrop to the important decisions made within. Access is heavily restricted, and royal guards stand vigilant to ensure the safety and secrecy of the Emperor's private affairs. The main hall of the chambers is spacious, with wooden floors covered with mats, with richly decorated columns. The Emperor's private bedroom is distinguished by its elegance and comfort. It includes carved wooden furniture, silk curtains, expensive carpets and pillows. Lighting is provided by lamps made of bronze or porcelain with fine ornaments. Scrolls with images of mountains, rivers and Buddhist symbols are hung on the walls. Unique relics and gifts from ambassadors, symbolizing the power of the Emperor, are displayed in the chambers. A small private garden adjoins the chambers.
