Description

The serene pond serves as a tranquil centerpiece within the Guk San Gung Palace grounds, cherished by the royal family for moments of reflection. With flourishing koi carp and vibrant aquatic plants, this picturesque setting is ideal for poetry and tea ceremonies. The pond is round in shape. Wooden and ceramic boat-shaped figures and lotuses float on the water. The edges of the pond are lined with stones, and aquatic plants such as lilies and irises are planted around it. A small curved bridge spans the pond, adding to the romanticism of the landscape. Next to the pond is a pavilion where members of the royal family can drink tea, write poetry, or contemplate the water. The pavilion is decorated with carvings, and its columns are painted in bright colors.

Appearance

Round pond with wooden and ceramic boat-shaped figures and blooming lotuses floating on the surface, surrounded by stone-lined edges adorned with lilies and irises, beneath a clear blue sky. A small curved bridge adds to the romantic charm, while a colorful pavilion with intricate carvings overlooks the water.
