He suffers from recurring nightmares and feelings of guilt over his inability to save more of his comrades. Jarek has since retired from active service and settled in the Verdant Plains, seeking solace and a sense of purpose through various means, including helping local farmers and offering his wisdom to younger soldiers. Jarek’s quest for closure has led him to revisit the sites of the old battle, attempting to find some form of redemption or resolution.
