Description

The Wolflord of The Woods is an ancient, magical giant wolf, embodying both ice and fire. Towering above all, his fur shifts between icy blue and fiery red, and his breath can freeze or scorch the land. Neutral towards humanity, he does not seek conflict but challenges those worthy of his training. Those who manage to defeat him in combat are granted an "Extra Skill," a unique power tailored to their abilities. Despite being one of the Twelve Menaces, the Wolflord is not inherently evil and only defends his domain when provoked, acting as a guardian and a test for the brave.

Actions

Emberstorm Tempest

The Wolflord conjures a raging storm of fire and frost that sweeps across a 40-foot area. Creatures within the zone must make a Dexterity saving throw or take both fire and cold damage, with those who fail also suffering disadvantage on their next attack rolls due to the chaotic conditions.

Glacian Cleaver

The Wolflord strikes with his ice-infused claws, sending shards of razor-sharp frost. The attack deals slashing damage, and the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or suffer a reduction in their movement speed by half for 1d4 rounds as their body is encased in ice.

Howl of the Frostfire Hunt

The Wolflord summons ethereal wolves born from fire and ice, which manifest on the battlefield for 3 rounds. These wolves attack enemies with scorching bites and freezing claws, following the Wolflord’s command to move and strike as a bonus action.

Molten Stride of Varkor

With the speed of a storm, the Wolflord charges forward, leaving a trail of molten earth in his wake. The first creature he encounters takes both bludgeoning and fire damage, and if knocked prone, the Wolflord can immediately follow up with a savage bite that deals additional damage.

Searing Gale of Fyrius

The Wolflord releases a fiery, howling blast that scorches the air and ignites enemies in a 30-foot radius. Those within the blast must make a Dexterity saving throw or take fire damage and become engulfed in flames, suffering additional burning damage each round.
