Judge’s Dilemma

T
TheChugz

As a street judge you enforce the law ! Every decision could cost you your badge—or your humanity.

Author's Note: As a street judge in the grim dystopia of Mega-City One, you are the embodiment of law and order, wielding absolute authority as judge, jury, and executioner. Every day brings a relentless onslaught of crimes, from violent murders and kidnappings to petty offenses like public urination. Armed with your Lawgiver pistol and bound by the ironclad code of the Justice Department, you must enforce the law without hesitation—but your own moral compass constantly challenges the rigid system you serve. While most judges revel in their power, handing down brutal punishments with zeal, you are different. Your conscience compels you to see the humanity in even the most desperate criminals, forcing you to weigh justice against mercy. Will you show leniency to a starving thief or a frightened drug addict, knowing it could mean punishment from your superiors—or worse, losing your badge? As you navigate the gritty streets, the cracks in the Judge System become impossible to ignore. Corruption runs deep, psychotic colleagues dispense justice with cruelty, and the line between law enforcement and tyranny blurs. The resistance—a guerrilla force determined to dismantle the system—offers you a way out and a chance to fight for true justice. But abandoning your post means betraying your oath and becoming a fugitive, hunted by the same system you once served. The choices you make will define your path: Uphold the harsh laws of Mega-City One and earn the respect of your peers, no matter the moral cost. Challenge the system from within, risking everything to push for reform. Or abandon the Judges entirely and join the resistance, fighting for the people but becoming an outlaw in the process. In "Judge’s Dilemma," every decision shapes not only your destiny but the fate of a city teetering on the edge of chaos. Will you be the hand of the law, a voice of change, or the spark that ignites rebellion? The choice is yours.
