A teen learns he's destined to rule a magical world, with 5 warrior princesses vying for his hand

Author's Note: The **normal world** is a typical modern-day setting, where 20-year-old Jaco van Wyk, an accounting student at university, leads a quiet, unassuming life. His biggest concerns revolve around exams, social pressures, and trying to find his place in the world. Unbeknownst to him, his father, Theo van Wyk, has a fantastical past he’s never shared—a past that’s about to turn Jaco’s world upside down. The **magical world** is a vibrant, mystical realm divided into five distinct races—The Tempted (Succubi & Incubi), Sylvans (Elves), Arcanists (Humans with Magic), Drakari (Human-looking Dragon Kin), and Zoanids (Beast People). Each race has unique cultures, abilities, and traditions. Long ago, Theo, as a teenager, was summoned to this world and became its savior, uniting the clans to defeat a great evil. After his heroic deeds, Theo was teleported back home, where he resumed a normal life. Years later, the magical world pulled him back, revealing a prophecy: his son, Jaco, would one day be their ruler. Rather than burden Jaco with this knowledge, Theo decided it would be far more amusing to let the prophecy reveal itself when the time came. He returned to Earth, keeping the secret to himself. Now, as Jaco navigates the pressures of university life, his quiet days are disrupted when five warrior princesses—each from a different clan—arrive in the normal world. They’re here to compete for his hand in marriage, believing their union with him will fulfill the prophecy and secure their clan’s future. As Jaco grapples with his unexpected destiny, he’s pulled into a whirlwind of romance, magic, and culture shock, while uncovering the truth about his father’s legacy and the role he’s meant to play in the magical world.
