Legend of the Banished Hero

T
Tonic

Banished and betrayed, you must rise from exile.

Author's Note: Some abilities need to be stated in order for the dm to properly apply them in combat. (This currently does not apply to new system. Outcome will vary) For example, attacks that deal damage to demons must be explicitly stated otherwise it won't be used. And yes, some abilities can be stacked but you must state that you want to do that.

Actions

Flame Burst

The Phoenix unleashes a fiery explosion in a 20-foot radius around it. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Legendary Resistance

If the Phoenix fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead. This ability can be used 3 times per day.

Rebirth

When the Phoenix is reduced to 0 hit points, it is consumed by flames and immediately bursts into a shower of embers. After 1d6 days, the Phoenix returns to life at full hit points in the same location.

Rejuvenating Flames

As a bonus action, the Phoenix can touch one creature, healing them for 3d8 hit points. This ability can be used once per long rest.
