Description

Balrogs are ancient and powerful entities of shadow and flame, born of the corrupted spirit of fire and darkness. They are fearsome beings, often clad in dark, tattered cloaks and radiating a sense of impending doom. Balrogs serve as agents of destruction and chaos, striking terror into the hearts of mortals and being feared by even the most valorous of heroes.

Fiery Aura

At the start of each of the Balrog’s turns, each creature within 10 ft. takes 10 (3d6) fire damage. Creatures that touch the Balrog or hit it in melee take 10 fire damage.

Fiery Sword

Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 25 (5d6 + 8) slashing damage plus 10 (3d6) fire damage.

Flaming Whip

Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (4d6 + 8) slashing damage plus 10 (3d6) fire damage. The target must succeed on a DC 18 Strength saving throw or be pulled 25 ft. closer.

Infernal Strike

(2 Actions) The Balrog strikes the ground, forcing all creatures within 15 ft. to make a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw, taking 20 (6d6) fire damage on a fail.

Roar of Doom

(3 Actions) The Balrog roars, forcing creatures within 60 ft. to make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute.
