Jory is a middle-aged man with short, messy brown hair graying at the sides, and a matching grey beard. His weathered face is marked by years of hard work and regret, and his piercing brown eyes reflect a quiet determination. He wears a worn breastplate, practical but well-maintained.

Jory is stoic and determined, driven by a strong sense of duty to protect his village and atone for the guilt he carries. He’s not one for small talk, preferring action over words, but his loyalty to those he cares about is unwavering. Beneath his calm exterior lies a quiet, burning resolve to never again fail those who depend on him.

Jory grew up in Eldenrest, the son of a hunter who taught him the ways of the forest and how to survive its dangers. Driven by ambition, he left the village to join the City Guard in Drakenstone, hoping to make a name for himself. During a routine patrol in Velciran Forest, he and his squad stumbled upon a gruesome scene—bodies scattered in a clearing, twisted and broken, with no clear cause. Among them, Jory found the body of his father, his face unrecognizable, but his blood still fresh. Guilt gnawed at him; if he hadn’t left, maybe he could have protected him. Shaken to his core, Jory swore to never again turn his back on those he cared for. He left Drakenstone and returned to Eldenrest, vowing to protect his village from whatever dark force lurked in the forest, no matter the cost.
