Ashen Lands

Verdelet is an old half-elf with long white hair and a thick beard, his sharp blue eyes constantly observing everything around him. He wears a robe that is half gold and half white, with a amulet featuring a tree symbol hanging from his neck. There’s a quiet intensity to him, like he's always in tune with the world, even when he’s standing still.

Verdelet is patient to a fault, preferring stillness and observation over quick judgment. He trusts instinct and memory more than words, and rarely feels the need to explain himself. The weight of old mistakes has made him cautious, but never passive—when he acts, it’s with quiet certainty.

Verdelet’s been in Eldenrest longer than most can remember. He used to roam the forests and mountains of Tiryndor as part of a druid circle, but something happened out there—something bad—and he was the only one who came back. Since then, he’s kept to the village, helping out with the land and warning folks when the mist feels “off.” He doesn’t talk much about the past, but you can tell he’s still watching the woods, waiting for something. Some say he still speaks to the trees at night, and sometimes, they answer.
