Darnagon spent decades forging weapons in Drakenstone for the City Guard, under orders signed by the High Order themselves. He took pride in his craft, until he began to see what his steel was truly being used for—not justice, but silence, intimidation, and control. Refusing a final commission tainted by politics, he left the city without a word, seeking a place where his craft would be untainted and needed for more honest purposes. Now, in Eldenrest, he runs Ironroot Forge, taking only the orders he chooses—crafting tools and weapons for villagers and travelers. He keeps to himself, but his work is steady, free from the reach of political corruption.
