Description

The Moth Maiden was once a protector of the Pale Tree, but now she is twisted by corruption. She moves with unsettling elegance, each step precise. Though undead, she remains bound to her duty, preventing any visitors from reaching the Pale Tree. The corruption has consumed her, but her resolve is unbroken. She stands as a silent, relentless force.

Actions

Blade of the Lost

Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 3) slashing damage. She strikes with her corrupted blade, its edge glowing with dark energy. If the target is below half its hit points, the blade channels corruption, dealing an additional 7 (2d6) necrotic damage as it drains the target’s life force.

Decay Strike (Recharge 5-6).

The Moth Maiden can channel the corruption that flows through her body into a vicious strike. She slashes with a decayed hand or her blade, creating a wave of corruption. Each creature in a 15-foot line must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, creatures take 18 (4d8) necrotic damage and are stunned until the end of the Moth Maiden’s next turn. On a successful save, they take half as much damage and are not stunned.

Moth Swarm (Recharge 5-6)

The Moth Maiden releases a swarm of writhing moths in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on her. All creatures within the area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, creatures take 14 (4d6) piercing damage and are blinded until the end of their next turn. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not blinded.

Multiattack

The Moth Maiden makes two attacks: one with her Blade of the Lost and one with her Decay Strike
