Description

Once a fearless knight, The Pale Dame now wanders the realms as a shadow of her former self, bound to undeath by a dark pact. Her sorrowful presence drains the will of even the bravest warriors, and her cursed greatsword strikes with the weight of her lost purpose.

Actions

Aura of Despair

Any creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of the Pale Dame must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or have disadvantage on attack rolls until the start of its next turn.

Cursed Greatsword

Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 4) slashing damage + 7 (2d6) necrotic damage.

Multiattack

The Pale Dame makes two melee attacks with her cursed greatsword.

Revenant’s Resolve (1/Day)

When the Pale Dame is reduced to 0 hit points, she can use her reaction to regain 30 hit points instead and is not knocked unconscious. This ability recharges at the next dawn.

Sorrowful Gaze (Recharge 5–6)

The Pale Dame targets one creature she can see within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be paralyzed with sorrow for 1 minute. The paralyzed target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. While paralyzed, the target can’t take reactions, and any attack rolls against the target have advantage.
