Aztec Mythology
The gods are gone, the sun won’t rise—will you save the world or let it burn?
Author's Note: Mecatl is unlike any fantasy setting you've played before—a world where the gods demand sacrifice, where divine cycles of creation and destruction shape history, and where your choices may decide the birth of an entirely new era. If you love high-stakes storytelling, mythic struggles, and a rich, underexplored mythological foundation, this is your world. The apocalypse isn’t coming… it’s here. What will you do with your final days?

Description
Tecuani-Tlalicpac (The Land of the Howling Beasts) is a rugged highland jungle, where massive beasts still roam freely. Imperial hunters frequent these lands, seeking rare pelts, venom, and trophies. However, many believe that the gods placed these creatures here as guardians—and that killing them invites divine wrath. Who Lives Here are: The Tecuanime (Beast-Speakers) – Warriors who bond with great predators and refuse to harm them. Noble Hunting Guilds – Rich warriors who hunt for sport and prestige. The Last Coyotl Clan – The remnants of an exiled people, who live hidden among the beasts.
