Description
Cipactonalco is a massive cave with an entrance resembling a serpentine maw, lined with rows of ancient, fossilized teeth. Local warriors believe that deep within its dark depths lies the slumbering Cipactli, an ancient godlike reptilian beast, waiting for a worthy champion to awaken it and ride upon its back. Yohualli, The Last Owl-Sage, claims that only the blood of a true champion will awaken the beast.
Appearance
The cave's entrance is imposing, with jagged stone resembling a gaping mouth, and the fossilized teeth glinting ominously in the light. Inside, the air is thick with the scent of earth and ancient magic, and the walls are adorned with strange carvings depicting the Cipactli and its legendary riders.
