Aztec Mythology
The gods are gone, the sun won’t rise—will you save the world or let it burn?
Author's Note: Mecatl is unlike any fantasy setting you've played before—a world where the gods demand sacrifice, where divine cycles of creation and destruction shape history, and where your choices may decide the birth of an entirely new era. If you love high-stakes storytelling, mythic struggles, and a rich, underexplored mythological foundation, this is your world. The apocalypse isn’t coming… it’s here. What will you do with your final days?

Ahuitzotl
Description
The Ahuitzotl, known as the 'Drowned Ones', are waterlogged revenants cursed by the dying gods after perishing in the great flood of the Fourth Sun. With their skin perpetually dripping and elongated fingers tipped with hook-like claws, they wander the realms as half-spirit, half-flesh beings, seeking vengeance or redemption while bearing an insatiable thirst.
