Description

New Zrasbridge is a slumped sprawl of tarpaulin roofs and sun-bleached wood, lying south of Athkatla and west of the merchant trails of New Fasvele. A recent offshoot of Old Zrasbridge’s dismantled outskirts, it has become a haven for the desperate, the hidden, and the ignored. Built in the shadow of the city's refuse mounds and crumbling old roads, its pathways are ankle-deep in filth after rain, dusty and choking during dry spells. The air often reeks of smoke, offal, and rot, yet it hums with the murmurs of barter, rumor, and quiet rebellion. It’s whispered that failed cultists from the Grave District and exiles from the Guild of Slavery hide here, nursing their grudges. Though Athkatla’s guard claims jurisdiction, they rarely tread the winding alleys, and no guild emblem flies here. In New Zrasbridge, coin buys silence, and kinship is forged in mutual neglect.

Appearance

New Zrasbridge slouches across uneven ground, a patchwork of cracked carts, torn canvas, and leaning mud-brick shelters. The skyline is broken by crooked poles strung with drying clothes and guttering lanterns. Smoke clings low to the earth, mixing with the stench of tanners’ waste and unwashed bodies. Wild dogs lope between makeshift stalls, and every gaze lingers just a moment too long.
