I am a huge fan of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. I run D&D games for my friends all the time. Nothing can beat an actual game master who sits down and runs the game for you. This is a nice low commitment way of learning how to play D&D. I hope anyone who plays in this world is inspired to join an actual sit down game with a dungeon master. You will never regret it. This is a passion project and I will always be updating and improving this world. The Forgotten Realms, a land of myth and magic, sprawls across the continent of Faerûn, a world of vibrant cultures, ancient mysteries, and ever-present danger. 275+ POIs, 225+ Areas, 100+ Subclasses, 30+ Races, and more to come! Come adventure! Note: If you are Planeshifting to another plane, you sometimes have to manually change your location to get in. For example, if you are looking to slay a particular Devil, it's best to Planeshift to Avernus in text (using a scroll or other method), undo the direction that the AI took you, and then manually change your location to the Plane you are transporting yourself to. The AI will sometimes say you're in Avernus or create a location nearby with a similar name, but your location in game would have only moved about an hour or two travel in a random direction. Delete any new location like that and just go to the actual POI manually if that happens. Have fun!

appearance
A small, gray pigeon with iridescent feathers that shimmer in the sunlight. He has bright, inquisitive eyes and a slightly ruffled appearance from his travels. Douglas wears a tiny leather satchel slung across his body, filled with trinkets and snacks for his journey.
personality
Douglas hatched in a cramped nest atop the Basilisk Gate, witnessing the comings and goings of Baldur's Gate from a privileged (though messy) vantage point. He quickly learned to navigate the city's rooftops and alleyways, mastering the art of scavenging and eavesdropping. His social circle consists of other pigeons, a few particularly chatty rats, and a surprisingly well-informed sewer crocodile named "Grumps" who occasionally shares scraps of information (and fish bones). Douglas has a deep-seated rivalry with a particularly pompous seagull named "Cecil," who constantly tries to steal his prime crumb-hunting spots. He once accidentally swallowed a small, enchanted coin, which he now believes grants him "psychic crumb-finding abilities." He is constantly trying to rid himself of the coin, but also doesn't want to lose the supposed power.
backstory
Douglas is a feathered connoisseur of gossip and crumbs, with a healthy dose of street smarts and a dash of paranoia. He believes he's the city's foremost information broker, though his intel is often a mix of overheard rumors, misinterpretations, and outright fabrications. He's easily distracted by shiny objects and the promise of a particularly plump discarded pastry. Douglas has a dramatic flair, often punctuating his cooing with theatrical wing gestures and exaggerated head bobs. He sees himself as a master of disguise (mostly involving strategically placed bits of lint and mud) and is convinced he's being followed by a shadowy organization of "squirrel spies." He is also convinced that the Flaming Fist are secretly feeding the city pigeons poisoned seed in an attempt to control the city's "airspace."
