backstory

Giandro Holfast is a middle-aged human master shipwright and town leader from Targos in Icewind Dale. Known for his stern demeanor and gravelly voice, he has dedicated his life to the prosperity and self-reliance of Targos. As Speaker of Targos and a representative to the council of the Ten Towns, he is proud and resolute, often opposing any attempts to diminish Targos' independence or elevate other towns above it. He is also a leader of the Dockworker's Guild, striving to expand its influence across the Ten Towns to strengthen Targos' position.
