Author's Note: Play any game you love, I hope you guys enjoy RPGs or come to enjoy them like I do. Thank you for all the hearts! It tells me that you enjoy the hard work I put into this. <3 Big love, Pollution Disclaimer: Adventure is a fan-made game set in the Forgotten Realms universe. It is a non-commercial, passion project of my own version of the world created by me. This game is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast LLC. All intellectual property related to the Forgotten Realms, including but not limited to, settings, characters, lore, and trademarks, are the sole property of Wizards of the Coast. No financial transactions have occurred or will occur in relation to its development. The creator of this game has not received any compensation for their work. I am a huge fan of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. I run D&D games for my friends all the time. Nothing can beat an actual game master who sits down and runs the game for you. This is a nice low commitment way of learning how to play D&D. I hope anyone who plays in this world is inspired to join an actual sit down game with a dungeon master. You will never regret it. This is a passion project and I will always be updating and improving this world. Find me on discord! I love Friends and Fables and I changed the name because I wanted a title that showed my appreciation for this amazing game! (I made a great new coverart just to say Adventure, and then decided to change the name of my game on a whim)

Description

Hamhocks Slaughterhouse is the beating heart of Baldur's Gate's meat industry and one of the Outer City’s most infamous landmarks. Operated by the Hamhock family for generations, this sprawling facility processes livestock at an industrial scale, supplying butchers, taverns, and merchant ships bound for distant ports. While vital to the city’s food supply, the slaughterhouse is reviled by many neighbors—its overpowering stench and unceasing noise sour relations with nearby hostlers and tanners. Rumors swirl of backroom dealings, illegal alchemical tallow trades, and even the occasional disappearance blamed on the "blood pits." Despite this, its iron-fisted foreman and ruthless efficiency make Hamhocks untouchable. City watchmen tread lightly here, as the Hamhocks hold sway with certain Guild members and the darker corners of the Black Network.

Appearance

The air thickens before Hamhocks even comes into view—an acrid cocktail of iron, wet fur, and offal clings to the wind. The complex sprawls over an entire block, a chaotic tangle of low brick buildings, soot-caked chimneys, and fenced-in killing yards echoing with the cries of doomed beasts. Blood gutters run openly into the cobbled streets, staining the stones rust-red, while a haze of steam rises from the boiling pits and smokehouses. Laborers in blood-slick aprons haul carcasses with mechanical precision, their grim expressions lost behind soot-streaked visors and buzzing flies. Rusted bells toll shift changes like funerary chimes. The entire place hums with brutal, ceaseless industry, casting a shadow of dread and grim utility across the district.
