Description

House Faen Tlabbar was a significant drow house in Menzoberranzan, led by a succession of Matron Mothers including Vadalma Tlabbar. With 40 nobles, 750 soldiers, it was one of the largest houses not on Qu'ellarz'orl plateau. Known for its fanatical devotion to Lolth, the house's symbol was a ruby-set barred double-curve. Its imposing dark stone castle featured tall spires and was defended by lizard-mounted guards. Despite formal alliances with House Baenre and House Xorlarrin, they also harbored animosities, including against their supposed allies.

Appearance

This large, dark stone castle stands defiant along the southern wall of Menzoberranzan, its tall, imposing spires piercing the cavern gloom. Guarded by lizard-mounted drow wielding crossbows and lances, its formidable presence is clear. Pale zurkhwood doors open into a grand hall with a gleaming black marble floor, leading to a gem-encrusted, domed shrine to Lolth, guarded by a flaming skeletal demon. The overall aesthetic is one of austere power and unwavering, fanatical devotion.
