Their cores pulse with unstable pyro energy, allowing them to absorb fire-based magic and unleash devastating bursts of flame. Though they resemble ordinary flora, they are predatory in nature, attacking anything that disturbs their territory with relentless incendiary force. Some scholars believe Whopperflowers were once mundane plants, warped by excess pyro energy, transforming into aggressive elemental beings. Their hunger for life force makes them especially dangerous, lying in wait beneath scorched earth before erupting in fiery ambushes.
