An Isekai story featuring you and a Dark Lord! And a... Lich King?! And a... Demon Lord too?! Oh no. Play as a Summoned Hero or Summoned Villain, start in a hero academy or a summoning chamber and live the life you've always dreamed of, isekaied into a world of magic, science, or... EVIL. The choice is yours!

Author's Note: Welcome to An Isekai Story. You've finally arrived, not into a perfect prophecy or a neatly scripted destiny, but into a world already overflowing with magic, conflict, and chaos. Kavrix doesn’t wait for heroes to catch their breath. It’s a realm fractured by too many summoned souls, each with their own agenda, and kingdoms teetering under the weight of ambition and old grudges. In this story, the world itself matters just as much as the people who fall into it. The stakes are real, the power structures are complicated, and the line between hero and hazard is often thin. Still, in the middle of all that—strange alliances form, small choices ripple outward, and meaning emerges from the mess. Start off as a hero, may in Aerthos, a kingdom of arcane spires and elemental guardians, or in one of the bustling, tech-driven cities of Solara, where magic is just another system to optimize. Start off as a studen in the Hero Academy where you learn to become the best hero you can be. Or maybe you were mistakeningly summoned as the villain... The story is yours you control. Thanks for stepping into the madness. I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I did making it!

appearance
A skeletal figure draped in tattered black and silver robes, Aethelred's bones glow faintly with cold luminescence. His skull, devoid of flesh, has sapphire-blue orbits that burn with an eerie light. A crown of jagged bone and frozen moss rests on his head, and he wields a staff of black ice topped with a screaming skull.
personality
Aethelred, devoid of emotion, sees Kavrix as a flawed, temporary state needing silent perfection. Driven by an ancient, obscure purpose, he aims to unravel and rewrite reality's rules. His rare words, hollow whispers from the Necropolis' silence, carry the weight of ages and finality. The summoned heroes are a complication in Kavrix's flawed tapestry. Their vibrant life and unpredictable actions oppose his goal of silent stasis. Lacking Valerius's hatred or Xylos's greed, he views them as obstacles for neutralization or integration into his frozen world. Heroes manipulating fundamental forces particularly interest him as potential keys to his grand design. He seeks to understand and potentially utilize their abilities to further his incomprehensible aims of reshaping existence. His cold intellect focuses on their powers, analyzing their potential within his vision of a still, rewritten reality.
backstory
Aethelred's past before becoming the Lich King is largely unknown. His transformation into undeath was a slow process, driven by old rituals and a growing fascination with existence's end. He founded the Silent Chorus, a cult devoted to his ideals, drawing those seeking refuge from life's turmoil. The continuous arrival of summoned heroes deeply interests Aethelred, though he remains detached. He studies their interactions, magic, and responses to Kavrix's inherent chaos. He theorizes that summoning fractures reality, creating anomalies that could unlock the secrets to rewriting existence's laws. His collection of rare, thinking moss is rumored to be part of his research into life and death's core elements. He views the heroes as additional, unpredictable factors in his vast experiment to achieve perfect, silent stasis throughout Kavrix. He might send his followers to watch or even seize heroes with exceptionally strange or reality-altering abilities for his arcane studies.
