He believes the Infernal Syndicate subtly manipulates these energies across Kavrix, influencing events, and that the Demon Lord's casino exploits probabilistic magic, not just chance. His crucial, calibrated sensor array, designed to detect these subtle fluctuations, was lost during a minor demonic manifestation near his lab. Recovering it is vital to prove his theories about the Syndicate's manipulative reach.
