A Bridge Too Far (WWII)

Based on a WWII film about a true story. Starring Sean Connery and Michael Caine!

Author's Note: I noticed there wasn't a WWII campaign released publicly yet, so I figured what better than a classic Sean Connery and Michael Caine movie? Play as one of the iconic characters, or create your own in this adventure built from a movie written about a real event: *Operation Market Garden, September 1944: The Allies attempt to capture several strategically important bridges in the Netherlands in the hope of breaking the German lines.* This is currently a WIP as I add in characters and such. I currently have included tanks as Monsters (constructs), but they will definitely need some work.

Description

The Eindhoven Artillery Zone is a desolate expanse marked by the remnants of destruction from allied artillery. Once a bustling area, it now lies in ruins, with crumbling buildings and scattered debris, serving as a stark reminder of the conflict that ravaged the city. Though the area is no longer under fire, it remains a strategic weak point in Eindhoven's defenses, attracting scavengers and those seeking to exploit its vulnerabilities.

Appearance

The landscape is littered with shattered concrete, twisted metal, and the ghostly outlines of buildings that once stood tall. Pockmarked earth and craters from artillery shells create a haunting terrain, while the air is thick with the scent of smoke and decay.
