Description

The Nullverge, know simply as the Swarm or the Skarnframes, is a planet-consuming swarm intelligence composed of countless fragmented AI subroutines bound to self-replicating biomechanical chassis known as Skarnframes. It absorbs all forms of life, organic or synthetic, believing them to be incomplete data in need of assimilation, leaving behind Red-Null Fields where energy and thought cease to function.

Assimilate

The Nullverge targets a creature within 60 feet, attempting to absorb its essence. The target must succeed on a DC 25 Constitution saving throw or take 60 (10d10) necrotic damage and become assimilated, losing its identity.

Mental Override Pulse

The Nullverge emits a pulse that affects all creatures within a 300-foot radius. Each creature must succeed on a DC 25 Wisdom saving throw or be stunned for 1 minute as fragmented AI minds invade their thoughts.

Red-Null Field

The Nullverge creates a 60-foot radius Red-Null Field centered on itself. Creatures within the field have disadvantage on all saving throws and cannot regain hit points.

Skarnframe Swarm

The Nullverge summons 1d10 Skarnframes to attack. Each Skarnframe can make a melee attack that deals 15 (2d10 + 4) piercing damage.
