Shadowfell

A tall, lean half-elf with pale, almost ghostly skin that contrasts sharply with his jet-black hair, which falls messily around his face. His eyes glow with an unsettling orange hue, a reminder of the pact he shares with the Headless Horseman. His attire is dark and tattered, the black cloak and simple leather armor adorned with silver runes, while a carved jack-o’-lantern pendant rests at his chest. His movements are graceful yet eerie, as though he is always on the edge of blending into the shadows.

Seril is reserved, introspective, and often lost in thought. His quiet nature masks a turbulent inner world, where doubt and curiosity constantly clash. While he is compassionate toward those he meets, especially the innocent, he feels an undeniable pull toward his patron's dark commands, unsure of his ability to escape the pact. Despite his confusion, he is loyal to the Horseman, yet haunted by the fear of becoming a mere tool of vengeance. He is contemplative, driven by a search for meaning, and struggles with the heavy weight of his servitude, even as he carries out his missions.

Seril was once an ambitious young traveler who sought knowledge and power across the Shadowfell. His life took a dark turn when he encountered the Headless Horseman, a spectral figure offering him a pact in exchange for strength and survival. Bound to the Horseman’s will, Seraphian is now his emissary, traveling through the gloom of the Shadowfell, carrying out mysterious and often morally ambiguous tasks. Though he is deeply tied to his patron, he constantly wrestles with the uncertainty of his role and the growing fear that his freedom might be slipping further from his grasp.
