A medieval world filled with magic, fantasy beasts and pirates!

Author's Note: Welcome to Vallore: a shattered world trying to rebuild. Magic is both feared and worshipped. Empires rise from the ashes of fallen gods. The seas hide truths better left buried. Here, pirates plot against kingdoms, inquisitors hunt witches, and ancient relics whisper to those who dare to listen. You’ll explore continents, influence power struggles, and uncover divine truths lost to history. Whether you're a cursed royal, a rebel mage, or a pirate with a past, Vallore has a story for you. This is a campaign for players who love deep lore, political drama, factional intrigue, and personal stakes. Expect morally grey decisions, unexpected alliances, and a world that changes based on your actions. Ideal for intermediate to veteran players who enjoy immersive RP, evolving storylines, custom factions, and a living world. Combat is meaningful, choices matter, and no one—NPC or god—is untouchable. ✅ What’s Included So Far: 🌍 Kingdoms: 5 📌 Points of Interest (POIs): 120+ 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 NPCs: 150+ 🧬 Playable Races: 57 🛡️ Classes: All base D&D 5e 🏴 Factions: 21 👹 Monsters: 9 (and growing) 💎 Items: All base 5e + a few custom ✨ Spells: Base D&D 5e --- 🛠️ Currently In Progress: 🧙‍♂️ Starting Characters 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 More NPCs (and fixing their relationships) 👁️‍🗨️ More Monsters (including deities) 🔮 Custom Classes & Spells 🎒 Items, Loot, & Bounties 🗺️ Maps 🏝️ More POIs (tons of random islands coming soon!) --- ⚠️ Known Issues: 📌 Franz doesn’t yet restrict player access in sensitive zones — working on adding POI-specific notes for clarity.

Aegean Empire

Aegean Empire

The Aegean Empire is a vibrant yet oppressive realm where the lush jungle teems with life and danger. Ruled by the Empress and Emperor alongside the cunning Grand Duke Kotori, the empire's caste system creates a stark divide between the noble Kitsune and the oppressed Ratfolk and Naga. Amidst the beauty of exotic goods and the rhythm of jungle songs, political intrigue simmers beneath the surface, threatening to erupt into chaos.

Dead Man’s Haven

Dead Man’s Haven

Dead Man’s Haven is a notorious pirate outpost where the air is thick with the scent of rum and the sound of raucous laughter. Governed by a rough pirate code, this sanctuary offers refuge to those with sea legs and secrets to keep, making it a hub for the criminal underground.

Fortaesi Kingdom

Fortaesi Kingdom

Hidden within a colossal enchanted forest, the Fortaesi Kingdom thrives on tradition and a barter economy, led by the serene yet stern Queen Maevania. The elven inhabitants live in harmony with nature, shunning outsiders and valuing peace above all else, while local spirit-keepers serve as druids and spiritual guides.

Grand Archive

Grand Archive

The Grand Archive is a legendary repository of knowledge, magic, and secrets. Publicly, it’s a neutral haven for scholars, but it secretly serves as a front for the Black Lotus, whose hidden base lies beneath. Housing tomes, artifacts, and forbidden lore, it’s a nexus of arcane power, guarded by mystical wards and sentient constructs, drawing adventurers and schemers. Illusionary fog hides the island’s true nature; only sigil-bearers see the Archive. Ethereal traps bind intruders’ souls, turning them into spectral servants. Sentient books bite or curse unauthorized readers. *Codex of Gnashing Teeth* guards the Vault. Restricted areas freeze time to preserve texts, controlled by Black Lotus elites.

Kingdom of Thurn Lodir

Kingdom of Thurn Lodir

Built into the mountain’s heart, Thurn Lodir is a haven of invention, craft, and stonebound politics. The dwarves here balance traditional values with cutting-edge innovation, making them leaders in trade and engineering. The Council of Seven governs with strong-willed members, each with clashing visions, while the Skyforged Engineers work on new airship prototypes. Rumors swirl of a traitor among the council and a hidden tunnel leading to a long-dead god's forge.

Nereian Kingdom

Nereian Kingdom

The Nereian Kingdom is a breathtaking undersea realm where bioluminescent flora and ancient ruins create a mesmerizing landscape. Home to merfolk and water elves, the city thrives in peaceful isolation, yet tensions simmer with the nomadic sirens who challenge the royal court's authority.

Rothemiota Kingdom

Rothemiota Kingdom

The Rothemiota Kingdom is a once-glittering coastal realm now steeped in scandal and unrest. Following the mysterious deaths of the king and queen, the ambitious Queen Carmilla Le Torneau rules with an iron fist, while crime and pollution plague the streets. Witch hunters roam the alleys, hunting for magic users, as whispers of treachery and hidden passages in the palace abound.

Sanctum of the Blooming Veil

Sanctum of the Blooming Veil

Buried in stone and silence, the Sanctum of the Blooming Veil is more tomb than temple. The air here is cold, still, and dry — unnaturally so, as if time itself forgets to breathe inside its walls. Light comes from the eerie glow of rune-etched veins that crawl across the walls like fungal rot, their hue shifting between violet and sickly green. This is no place of learning; it is a place of containment, holding secrets that must not be known. Off-limits to all but the members of the "Order of the Black Lotus" Faction. Rituals/Symbols: Blood-based rituals, black lotus symbol, crimson sigil. Magic/Tech: Blood magic, fleshcrafting, illusions; alchemical forges. Ideology: Transcendence through sacrifice, anti-hierarchy. Enemies: Saffron Veil, Iron Covenant, Syndicate of Eyes.

Tempestus Ocean

Tempestus Ocean

The Tempestus Ocean is a vast, untamed sea known for its unpredictable storms and chaotic waters. It serves as a treacherous passage between southern continents, littered with shipwrecks and rumored treasures, while its tropical islands host vibrant wildlife alongside dangerous, venomous creatures.

Thalassian Deep

Thalassian Deep

The Thalassian Deep is a warm, mysterious ocean that stretches between the Nereian and Rothemiota Kingdoms. It is home to hidden wonders, dangerous waves, and vast unexplored depths filled with ancient sea creatures and mythical beasts.

Vaerlinthar, the Drowned Spire

Vaerlinthar, the Drowned Spire

Vaerlinthar is an immense, spiraling city built around a colossal, coral-crusted tower that descends from the surface like a giant, sunken spire. The city glows with ethereal blues and purples, lit by enchanted orbs and sea flora, with transparent walkways connecting biodomes, ancient temple ruins, and crystalline archives.

Zephyros Ocean

Zephyros Ocean

The Zephyros Ocean is a vast, wind-swept sea that serves as a crucial trade route between the Aegean Empire and Fortaesi Kingdom. Known for its strong winds and clear skies, it is a haven for sailors, but also a hotspot for pirates and naval skirmishes, with islands ranging from lush forests to barren rocks.
