Description
Higher gargoyles are created through dark rituals, resembling humanoids more closely than their lesser kin. With stone-like bodies, horns, claws, tails, and bat-like wings, they share the dark grey, rock-textured hide of lesser gargoyles but possess human-like intelligence. They can live indefinitely unless eroded or destroyed, though most perish within 200 years due to injury or illness. Resistant to poison and immune to petrification, they require no sleep but rest as statues during daylight.
