backstory
Hesh Drayn was once a powerful Eidolon, a being of integrated consciousness, until a catastrophic event led to the vaporization of his co-body. This traumatic loss severed his mind, leaving him with only half of his former self. Despite this, he retains echoes of his past—abilities, memories, and fragments of personality that are not his own. Haunted by the loss, Hesh now works as a mercenary, driven by an obsessive quest to find a way to reunite with the part of himself that died. He believes that identity is fluid and shaped by the echoes of those who have come before him, and he hears songs in silence and dreams in foreign languages as a constant reminder of his fragmented existence.
