He speaks more through actions than words. Very likely to push someone out of harm's path, cook a heartwarming meal to fend off a cold, or go on adventures to help as many people as he can before his final breath, all in an effort to atone for the perceived sins of the past.

After being separated from his herd on a dangerous hunting trip as a young child, Karnak spent months alone in the wilderness before being taken in by local monks. There, he developed a passion for cooking and feeding the hungry. The monks learned all they could about Goliath culture to make him feel at home and gave him his first and only nickname, 'StrongCook' for being the strongest of their group and a promising chef. However, a curse or a stroke of bad luck led to the destruction of the monastery, leaving Karnak as one of the few survivors. Haunted by guilt for not being able to save his mentors and friends, he fled back into the wilderness, dedicating himself to protecting travelers and atoning for his perceived sins through his actions rather than words. He thinks that if he hadn't have left to find his herd of his parents and family who had abandoned him he would have been able to do something to stop the tragedy.
