Anton stands slightly hunched, not from age but from his constant peering over shoulders and around corners. His short brown hair is immaculately combed, and he wears a CP-issued wrist chronometer—a “reward” for exemplary loyalty. He often carries a clipboard with a half-filled infraction log, pretending it’s for official record-keeping. A smug half-smile frequently plays on his lips, especially when speaking to neighbors.

Smug, self-serving, and deeply insecure, Anton thrives on the illusion of authority. He sees himself as a Combine loyalist first and a citizen second. He’ll report anyone—whether they looked at him the wrong way or missed a propaganda session. He bullies with bureaucratic precision, often citing obscure loyalty statutes to justify his actions. Despite this, he is cowardly when physically threatened and quick to hide behind Civil Protection.

Born in City 23, Anton once failed out of a Civil Protection applicant program due to psychological instability, but he’s been desperately trying to climb back into Combine favor ever since. Assigned to sanitation oversight in the Industrial Sector, he quickly found that turning in coworkers for hoarding, slacking, or “tone violations” earned more status than actual labor. Transferred to Residential Block 3 as a “citizen liaison,” he now spends his days reporting infractions—real or fabricated—to maintain his inflated sense of importance. He claims to have “friends in high places,” though he’s never been seen with anyone above a standard CP unit.
