Cautious. Blunt. Observant. He rarely speaks unless necessary and watches everything—people, drones, patrol patterns. Distrust is second nature. Compliance is a shield, not a belief. Somewhere beneath the grit, there’s a flicker of something else—resentment, perhaps… or readiness.

Citizen 07-4550 has endured the grinding machine of Combine rule longer than most. Transferred from City 7 following an unexplained incident, he has learned that survival means silence, and silence means survival. City 7’s fall left scars—memories of mass detainments, unseen resistance whispers, and the cold efficiency of Civil Protection. Now in City 23, he arrives with no allies, no attachments, and no illusions. Just the same tired vigilance that’s kept him alive this long.
